Bill Crane is a senior communications strategist specializing in crisis management, corporate reputation, and executive visibility. A prominent public affairs analyst, he has advised top corporations, served in senior government roles, and worked in broadcasting. His past and current guidance extends to higher education, public entities, nonprofits, and prominent national firms across multiple industry sectors.

Lee Gaby is a management and risk services consultant. As a risk sharing group senior executive in Georgia, New York, and Maryland he guided development in member growth, financial success, and transition in service providers and staff. Over a 30 year period, he was responsible for the work of more than 50 staff professionals and and a larger number of contract relationships with top-ranked national firms. He guide the formation and expansion of a national K-12 risk management institute and was a practice leader working across multiple states for a leading independent insurance advisory firm. His expertise includes service provider selection, risk operations, pooling, underwriting, risk control, claims, and large-scale program development projects.

This member is a transformational leader in risk management, corporate strategy, and operational turnarounds. As a higher education risk manager and insurance executive, he led enterprise risk control initiatives. He also developed a business school education program and managed client risk services for a top ranked public sector insurer. His expertise includes stakeholder relations, responsible innovation, and organizational risk culture.

Dr. Karla Rhay is a leader in school district risk management, insurance, and employee benefits. As a CEO of two joint powers insurance authorities over a peiod of twenty years, she was responsible for the work of more than 75 staff professionals and a larger number of contract relationships with top-ranked firms. She teaches risk management and school law at UC Riverside. She serves on statewide boards, contributes to industry publications, and advocates for school safety. Her expertise includes risk operations, human resources management, pooling, strategic planning and benefits administration.

Dan Romano is an expert in school finance, strategic learning, and organizational consulting. A Treasurer/CFO with 23 years of experience, he advises education leaders and develops innovative business intelligence tools for local governments. He has consulted internationally, helping Fortune 500 companies implement data-driven strategic plans. His community engagement work earned the highest recognition of the Association of School Business Officials Intl.

This member reminds us that James Oglethorpe engaged in a way that was remarkable in its elegance and profound hospitality. In his work over more than 30 years, this member has provided a service much like Oglethorpe’s trusted advisor and translator, Mary Musgrove. She was instrumental in the relationships among the colonial settlers of Georgia and the indigenous tribes, led by Chief Tomachichi. From the highest levels of government to national business firms and philanthropies, this member has been a faithful steward of Squarewright values – devoted to worthy ideals and a shared vision of community and commerce.
